Thank god it’s Monday! Starting the week off with a chipper, and will be a great piece to work on pacing. Settle into a good % output for yourself and try to sustain your effort and minimize breaks.
BENCH PRESS + STRICT PULL-UPS
Onto the rep of scheme of 2+1 for our cycle. Make sure to have a buddy and follow the proper spotting protocol. This is a great opportunity to really push your strict pull-ups variation. Let’s get a challenging rep in each round.
Testing day! Again, safety is at the forefront here when we do our max outs. No tempo is prescribed for today’s 1RM but we should still be thinking about a controlled descent, followed by a tight frame through the bottom, and an explosive drive through the legs to stance.
