Hey guys! A quick little review of the week will be available to you on Sunday nights now. We won’t necessarily go over every single day, however we want you guys to know what to expect this week, where we are in the current cycles, and why we are doing some of the movements, WODs, etc. Please direct any questions you have to me, and never hesitate to reach out I’ll always be happy to answer!
We will begin a Squat Clean Cycle this week! It’ll be a 4 week cycle, so in our case it’ll take 8 week since we go every other week. We just completed a successful Power Clean cycle, and now that we’re feeling strong with our Positioning it’s time to focus on getting underneath the bar and putting our front squat work to good use.
This will be our second week at the Heavy Double + 20RM back squat. We should be looking for small increases off of two weeks ago, on both the double and 20 reps. Remember to still leave some room for improvement as we're only at the half way mark of the cycle.
We're really excited for the “Gymnastics Chipper” you’ll attack this week. We do a lot of gymnastics, but also take the necessary time to put in work on the strict movements. This will be a great test to see where your capacity is in relation to both while being under fatigue.
