Thruster (from the rack)
5 x 2, adding weight each set to something heavy for 2 reps.
*Be sure to really try to stay on those heels (whole foot) throughout the lift. You'll come up onto the toes as you drive up and launch the bar off your shoulders, but the S2OH portion of the Thruster should be a Push Press, so lock out those legs on the way up and return to your heels as fast as possible.
**After last set, perform "Fran Prep"
3 Rounds @game speed
5 Thrusters (up to working weight for Fran)
5 Pull-ups (whatever scaling option you choose)
*Rest 90s after each. This is to be done at "game" speed
*If this is your first time performing FRAN, scale as needed to make this workout aggressive. The goal is to try to complete all of this work in around 6 mins or less, if possible.
*If you are repeating this workout, and you scaled Fran last time, and you finished it under 6:00, maybe you are ready to try it as prescribed, so this is a great opportunity for you!
*If you normally perform Fran as prescribed, and you finish it under 5:00, go after this today as you normally would in order to try to PR, but when you finish, rest 2:00 and then perform an AMRAP with the time remaining of 15 Thrusters / 15 Pull-Ups to get some extra volume.
