About the Program
Appropriate Age Range: 3rd Grade – 6th Grade
Kids develop lifelong habits at a very early age, and it is important to get them started on a fit and healthy lifestyle as soon as possible. The Resilience Kids program establishes a path to a lifetime of fitness through fun games and structured activities. Our CrossFit Kids-certified coach Jamie Weeden will take them through activities that involve basic movements such as pushing, pulling, running, jumping, squatting, throwing, etc. — only safe movements that nature intended them to do. These are some of the same functional movements we develop in our adult group sessions, only the workout along with the intensity is scaled methodically according to their age and individual physical and mental capacity.

About the Coaches
Cate Wall
COACH x
My name is Cate Wall and I am so excited to work with CrossFit Kids this summer! I truly started my fitness journey working at Cornerstone Health and Fitness in Doylestown, PA after getting my Master’s at UMass Amherst and spending too much time in an unhealthy lifestyle in a career in hospitality management. Working with their team, we focused on functional fitness and whole family health. After moving back to Massachusetts I discovered Crossfit Resilience and never looked back. I am NASM certified, TRX Qualified and hold my Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification. As a mom of two active boys, I love that the CFR family gets our kids moving, shows them fitness is fun and inspires families to stay fit together. I am thrilled to become a part of the CFR team! Jaclyn Chirco
Jaclyn graduated from Hopkinton High School in 2013 and Assumption College in 2017. Jaclyn played three varsity sports in high school, which led her to discover CrossFit. She joined CFR in 2012 to help get in better shape for her last year of high school sports, and ultimately DII College Lacrosse. Sports, athletics and fitness have always been, and continue to be, a big part of her life as she continues her lacrosse career playing for Boston Storm in the UWLX. After being a member for 3 years, Jaclyn became intrigued with the coaching side of CrossFit. She pursued an internship at CFR during the summer of 2015. At the end of the summer, Jaclyn realized this was something she really loved. That winter, Jaclyn received her Level 1 Certification. Since beginning coaching, she's fallen more in love with CrossFit and the CFR family. CrossFit Resilience has truly changed her life and she wishes to help others in the same way, reaching their personal, life and fitness goals! Achievements

Katie Cox
COACH x
A varsity ice hockey all star turned elite obstacle course racer turned CrossFit enthusiast. There's no stopping her once she has that fitness goal in mind. Her physical abilities are equally met by her mental toughness. The constant movement variations and challenges CrossFit throws at her only drive her to be better than yesterday. Outside of fitness, Katie has a bachelor’s degree in education from Salve Regina University and is currently finishing up her master’s degree at Lasell College. What better way to combine her two passions than coach CrossFit! Jamie Weeden
